God is calling us to act on a dream that He has placed in our hearts and those who have gone before us.

As The Hope Collective, we are engaging in a two-year generosity initiative called GIVE HOPE.

Hope is our confident expectation of a better tomorrow based on the character and promises of God. He is our hope. He is our cause. Lake County has over 700,000 people – those who have hope and those who are lost without it.

By challenging, inspiring, and equipping The Hope Collective, we have a greater opportunity to give hope to our community and throughout the world. We want everyone to fully engage in a discipleship and leadership process that will allow us to give hope in a way we’ve never done before. It’s a vision that can only be accomplished through extravagant generosity and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Welcome To Give Hope

We all know that feeling of walking into a school, workplace, or crowded event and not seeing an available seat. When that happens, there’s nothing like having someone call your name because they have a seat for you. That is what the Give Hope journey is all about. God has invited us to His Table to feast with Him so we can find our identity, purpose, hope, calling, and new life through His Son, Jesus. What would it look like to have a seat at God’s table and invite by name those we meet who are in need of this hope we have?

The Table is a place of belonging, feasting, conversation, and celebration. Jesus did so much of His ministry around tables and still does that ministry today through His church.

When a church loses its purpose, many times it’s because they are sitting at the wrong tables. The Kingdom of God is an invitation to those of us who have found ourselves either sitting at the wrong table or unable to find a seat.

What's Your Role

New Commitment

Give Hope is for anyone who considers themselves a part of HopeCo. Our desire is to have our entire church family come together around the Give Hope Initiative, each family committing to be a part of making hope happen. We invite you to consider making a 12-month generosity commitment to Give Hope.

Finish Strong

Others made a commitment one year ago and for some of us, the journey since then has been more challenging than we anticipated. We want to encourage you to finish strong on this journey you’ve begun! We know that God is faithful and will give us what we need.

Increase

Some of us made our Give Hope commitments one year ago and have had an increase in our faith, our finances, or both. You may be sensing the Lord stretching you towards even greater generosity. We want to challenge you to respond by increasing your Give Hope commitment. Generosity is not a one-time event; it is a journey. Pray and ask yourself if God is inviting you into an even deeper act of faith with an increased commitment.

Matthew 9:9-13

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Matthew got up and followed him.

Later, Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. But when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum?”

When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.” Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
