Marriage is a gift given to us by God.
Marriage is a gift given to us by God, but at times it can feel challenging to connect and communicate in a way that is supportive and life-giving. HopeCo’s Marriage Ministry desires to be a champion for you – whether you are engaged, have been married 40 years, or are somewhere in between.
Marriage Enrichment
We offer support to help you and your spouse find hope amidst the challenges of life. Whether you are in as season of needing growth or healing in your marriage, we can provide you with several options:
- Marriage Enrichment Through Hope Biblical Counseling. We will walk alongside you to get to the heart of why issues exist in your marriage – looking at family of origin, unspoken expectations, and perhaps unrealistic desires on both sides.
- Referral to one of our network partners that provide Licensed Marriage counseling for more in-depth issues. We will also continue to walk alongside you to help with community, connection, or anything else you need.
- Marriage Coaching. Our Coaching couples are couples in the church who have a passion to help other couples grow in their marriage. They meet one-on-one with you for intentional conversation on how to help you go from good to great. It is not counseling, but a place where you can both feel comfortable talking with a more experienced couple who has “been there, done that”.
Premarital Coaching
Premarital Coaching is a 3-4 month time period where you meet one-on-one with another couple for intentional conversation on how to prepare for your upcoming marriage. It is not counseling, but a place where you can both feel comfortable talking with a more experienced couple who has “been there, done that”. Typically, you will work through a premarital or marriage book with your coaching couple that will cover a variety of topics. Our Coaching couples are couples in the church who have a passion to help engaged couples get started on the right foot, with Christ at the center of their marriage.
Prepare/Enrich Assessment
We have several couples in the church who are “Certified Prepare Enrich Facilitators”. Prepare/Enrich is one of the premier relationship-based assessments available and helps you identify your unique relationship strengths and growth areas in multiple categories. PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitators help couples identify their relationship strengths, understand dynamics, and build skills. Both of you will take the assessment individually from home, and our Facilitators will provide results through feedback sessions, and promote relationship growth. The cost for the assessment is $50.
